4 Week Turn Around For Lift Company

Precision People was approached by Cibes Lift Group, to act as an exclusive recruitment partner for its Sales Manager role on a retained basis. 

Cibes Lift Group has grown into one of the world’s largest manufacturers of low-speed lifts, with a worldwide distribution network that has seen their lifts sold in more than 50 countries worldwide. Cibes Lift Group has subsidiaries in nine countries and delivers lifts worldwide through a global network of 200 distributors.

Our approach 

Previously, Cibes had used a number of other agencies in the UK, who were more generalist and had not had the market knowledge or network contacts to be successful in finding a suitable candidate for this specialist role. 

Our solution

A detailed hiring strategy was agreed which included a national search and a comprehensive database search. Precision People quickly identified skilled suitable candidates who had the right keys to hire and shortlisted only three for the Sales Manager role.

Throughout the course of hiring, Precision’s specialist Lift & Escalator Consultant Ben kept in regular contact with the Managing Director of Cibes Lifts, including a face to face visit to really understand their requirements. Ben then assisted with the final selection process by making the offer and providing feedback to all the candidates.

Results

An efficient search process meant that Cibes had interviewed, shortlisted and made the job offer within eight weeks, which also included the candidate working a four week notice period. 

The chosen candidate had over twenty years experience and had worked for businesses including Artico and Gartec, making this an excellent fit both technically and culturally. 

Precision believes in building long-term relationships with all our clients and 6 months later, the candidate is thriving in her Sales Manager role and Precision is currently working with Cibes to fill their next specialist position.
