Our established Engineering Manufacturing client is currently looking for an Internal Sales individual from an engineering, sheet metal or fabrication background to join their team based in South Leicester. Other job titles could include Trade Sales, Sales Administrator, Internal Sales, Sales Engineer or similar.
The Role of Sales Coordinator:
To coordinate all aspects of trade sales enquiries from standard stock parts to manufactured assemblies.
To assist the service department with breakdown and remedial order processing and coordinate parts and labour requirements
Receiving parts orders from customers & registering orders on the Sales Order system
Purchasing parts using the purchase order system
Raising manufacture orders for company parts and monitoring progress
Arranging dispatch of parts to the customer and or attending engineer
Assist the department with breakdown and malfunction queries
Dealing with invoice queries and returns
Assist and work with the other departments for more complex jobs when the role requires
Working with Customers, Service Area Coordinators, Service Engineers and Contract Manager
Key Candidate Requirements
Must have experience of working within a company involved in engineering, trade sales and or parts procurement
Good communication skills- able to communicate with internal and external customers
Well organised with very good administration discipline
Commutable to the company office in LE18
Understanding of technical drawings - CAD/wiring loom drawings/schematics
Computer literate in MS applications.
Salary / Package
Starting salary of £25k-£30k per annum
Annual bonus paid monthly (averaging £3k per year dependent on sales)
25 days holiday plus Bank Hols
Company Pension Scheme
39-hour working week (unless required to work on-site)
8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 1pm finish Friday
