Skilled Welder/Fabricator

• Paying £18.41 per hour 
• Working hours: 7 am till 5.30 pm - Mon to Thurs or Tues to Sat

This role is commutable from Peterborough, Stamford, Uppingham, Corby and surrounding areas.

Job description

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator. 

The Role -  Welder / Fabricator:

• MIG Welding predominantly on mild steel
• To fabricate medium gauge metal components up to 10mm
• Working from engineering drawings
• Working independently and as part of a team

Minimum Skills / Experience Required -Welder / Fabricator:

• Have a good engineering background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings   
• Must have a proven track record as a fabricator
• Ability to work with all types of metal up to 10mm
• Must have good attention to detail
• Be able to finish a product to a very high standard
• Be punctual and a good timekeeper 
• Be confident, organised and methodical
• Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to motivate others
• Work well as a team member
• Be able to problem solve and come up with solutions

• Pay rate £18.41
• Overtime available

• Required to work 3 weekends a year
